Meagan and Jake :: Classic Blue and White Wedding in Dallas

Classic Blue and White Wedding Invitation with Watercolor Venue and Antique Monogram

We loved working with Meagan and Jake on their full wedding stationery. From their save the dates to invitations to coordinating day-of stationery, we designed a classic, timeless design from start to finish.

Nestled in the heart of Southern Methodist University’s (SMU) campus, Perkins Chapel is an architectural gem and a beloved wedding venue in Dallas, Texas. Built in 1951, the chapel boasts timeless Georgian Revival architecture with elegant columns, traditional brickwork, and a grand central steeple, setting a breathtaking scene for any wedding. It’s a favorite among couples who dream of a ceremony space that’s intimate yet awe-inspiring. Today, we're highlighting a beautiful wedding held at Perkins Chapel, celebrating the love story of [insert couple’s names] and how they transformed this historic venue into a dream come true.

A die-cut belly band with foil detailing adds a stunning, luxurious touch to wedding invitations, blending elegance with modern craftsmanship. This decorative wrap not only keeps the invitation suite neatly bundled but also introduces guests to the wedding’s aesthetic right from the first glance. Imagine a delicate floral or geometric design, cut precisely to reveal intricate patterns, enhanced by a shimmer of metallic foil. The foil accents catch the light beautifully, offering a hint of glamour without overwhelming the invitation. Whether in classic gold, rose gold, or silver, a foil-accented die-cut belly band elevates the invitation suite, making it an unforgettable preview of the big day.

A chinoiserie envelope liner paired with a foil and watercolor wedding invitation creates an invitation suite that feels like a piece of art. Inspired by the classic elegance of East Asian design, chinoiserie patterns bring intricate floral motifs, birds, and delicate landscapes into the envelope, setting a refined and timeless tone. The invitation itself combines modern touches of metallic foil with the soft, painterly effects of watercolor, creating a harmonious balance between tradition and contemporary style. The foil details add a luxurious glimmer, enhancing the depth of the watercolor hues, while the chinoiserie liner adds an unexpected layer of sophistication. This stunning combination gives guests a glimpse into a wedding that’s both steeped in elegance and uniquely personal.

For their day-of stationery, we were getting creative with their escort cards and created a passport style escort card, ready for guests to adventure! We created a custom watercolor illustration of their sweet dog and added to not only the custom watercolor pet cocktail napkins but also a custom bar sign. The perfect way to get their sweet fur baby involved in the fun wedding festivities.
